Pago de los Capellanes reserva

Pago de los Capellanes Reserva is a red wine that represents the tradition and experience of the winery in the production of high quality wines in the Ribera del Duero. This wine, made with 100% Tempranillo grapes from old vineyards, is a true reflection of the character and personality of the region.

The grapes are carefully selected and harvested by hand, and then go through a traditional production process with prolonged maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently, the wine ages for 20 months in French and American oak barrels, where it acquires complexity and roundness.

In the glass, Pago de los Capellanes Reserva presents an attractive intense cherry red color with garnet rims. On the nose, it displays a complex aromatic bouquet that combines ripe red and black fruits with spicy notes of vanilla, cinnamon and clove, provided by the barrel aging. There are also balsamic, mineral touches and subtle toasted aromas that add depth and elegance.

On the palate, the wine is powerful and structured, with mature and well-integrated tannins that provide body and volume. The acidity is present and balanced, providing freshness and liveliness to the whole. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a pleasant memory of fruit, spices and wood on the palate.

This wine is ideal to accompany grilled red meats, roasts, game stews, aged cheeses and haute cuisine dishes. It is recommended to decant it at least an hour before consumption so that it can express its full potential.
