Red wine made in the D.O. Rioja with grapes from vines between 25 and 35 years old of the Tempranillo, Garnacha Tinta and Graciano varieties. Reserve of great complexity and elegance with toasted notes, a blackberry background, noble woods and sweet spices.

Quantity

Vineyards-yields: Selection of plots of old vines from 25 to 35 years old, from Rioja Alta (85%) and Rioja Alavesa (15%). Low yields of 35HL / ha average.

Varieties used: 85% Tempranillo, 10% Garnacha tinta, 5% Graciano

Soils: Mostly clayey-calcareous. Plots of Rioja Alta with ferrous sub-floor.

Dominant climate: Atlantic, temperate, with differentiated stations.

Harvest: Parcel to parcel, totally manual.

Vinification: Clusters crushed and destemmed. Alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature that starts at 10ºC until reaching 28ºC.

Maceration: With the skins prolonged up to 25 days.

Fermentation: Malo-lactic in stainless steel tank, once finished, go to barrels with racking every 6 months.

Crianza: 20 months in French oak barrels.

Refined in bottle: minimum 2 years

Temperature: 17ºC.

Alcoholic graduation: 14% Vol.

Tasting and pairing:

View: Dark ruby ​​covered cloak.

Nose: Of fine complexity that opens on notes of cherry, vanilla and soft toast.

Mouth: Harmonious that integrates silky and well-defined tannins with sweet flavors that offer a wide-ranging plot.
